The Chile in velvet is the Mason’s men’s cargo designed for those looking for a practical pair of trousers with a cleaner and more refined image than traditional cargo pants. It is not a purely utility or military-style cargo: it keeps the functional spirit of the model, but reinterprets it with a more polished line, also suitable for smart-casual looks.

The 500-wale velvet, meaning a fine-wale corduroy, adds warmth, softness and a more elegant appearance for the cold season. The extra slim fit creates a sharp silhouette without looking skinny. Compared to the Chile, which has a more regular fit, this version sits closer to the body and has an image closer to a chino.

It is ideal for winter in the city, refined leisure time and informal smart-casual settings. It pairs well with knitwear, light jackets or Mason’s outerwear; with sneakers or leather boots, it takes on a more relaxed character. Wash gently at 30°C, always inside out, without bleaching or tumble drying. Iron inside out at low temperature.
